Guide coverage

Hethereau: City, Vehicles & Law Enforcement

Beyond combat, NTE leans hard into urban life sim: more than 10 customisable vehicles for getting around, housing, and business management sit alongside the main story. Unusually for the genre, there's a working law-enforcement system — cause enough chaos and the city's authorities will actually pursue you, potentially landing your character in a detention centre.

Launch Content & Reception

The global launch shipped with 15 playable characters and over 40 Anomaly Commissions. Reception has been broadly positive — Steam user reviews sit around 85% positive — with reviewers noting the game genuinely breaks from the standard anime-gacha template, though with some acknowledged launch-window rough edges. Hotta Studio has published a public roadmap covering character detail improvements, new main story episodes and multiplayer fixes.
