Confirmed information
Witchbrook is a life-sim and social RPG co-developed by Chucklefish and Robotality, published by Chucklefish, casting players as a new student at Witchbrook College — a magical academy in the pixel-art seaside city of Mossport. Originally slated for winter 2025, the game has been delayed multiple times and is now targeting a 2026 release on PC (Steam), Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with players attending classes, mastering spells and potion-making, and building relationships with fellow students and townsfolk who follow their own daily schedules through the changing seasons.

Gameplay balances magical study (classes, assignments, spellcasting, potion-making, divination) with everyday town life in Mossport — running a business, renovating a home, foraging, fishing, and forming friendships or romances with residents who have fully fleshed-out schedules across a full school year.
Chucklefish, a self-described zero-crunch studio, has pushed the release from winter 2025 into 2026 to polish the game, using the extra time to confirm Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 support alongside the originally planned PC and Xbox versions and to explore additional language support.
