Ascendance: The Paid Expansion

Announced in June 2026, Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is a large-scale paid expansion planned for 2027, comparable in scope to Monster Hunter World's Iceborne or Rise's Sunbreak. It adds the Skybound Eyrie, a new region of floating sky islands, a Master Rank progression tier, returning Elder Dragons, and a new Boost Bracer combat mechanic.

Free Title Updates & Nintendo Switch 2 Port

Beyond Ascendance, Capcom has continued shipping free Title Updates with new and returning monsters (including the fan-favorite Lagiacrus) and Arch-Tempered variants for endgame hunters, and has confirmed a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monster Hunter Wilds is in development.
