Confirmed information
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is a real-time strategy game developed by KING Art Games (the studio behind Iron Harvest) and published by Deep Silver, announced at Gamescom 2025 and scheduled for a 2026 release on PC via Steam. After Dawn of War III's divisive shift toward MOBA-influenced gameplay in 2017, the series moves to a new developer for the first time and returns to classic Dawn of War roots, with base-building, large squad-based armies, and deep strategic combat set on the planet Kronus roughly 200 years after the events of Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.

PC
Dawn of War IV features four mechanically distinct playable factions — Space Marines, Orks, Necrons, and the Adeptus Mechanicus, making their series debut — each with its own campaign feeding into a single overarching narrative, totaling more than 70 campaign missions.
Alongside solo or co-op campaign play, Dawn of War IV ships with competitive multiplayer, Skirmish, and the fan-favorite cooperative horde mode Last Stand, continuing the series' tradition of supporting both narrative and replayable competitive content at launch.
