Halo: Campaign Evolved is a ground-up remake of 2001's Halo: Combat Evolved campaign, developed in Unreal Engine 5 by Halo Studios and released July 28, 2026 — 25 years after the original. It marks the first time a mainline Halo game has launched on PlayStation 5, alongside Xbox Series X/S, PC (Steam and Windows Store), cloud, and day-one Game Pass, with cross-play and cross-progression across every platform.
